Currently, we are stationed at John Prince Park Campground, a beautiful county park in Lake Worth, FL
One day, while I was walking my dogs, I noticed an unattended dog tied up to a picnic table. It was a very hot & humid typical South Florida day so, it caught my attention immediately. 5 hours went by & it was time for another dog walk.
The same dog was still sitting outside under the same conditions. I came back home, dropped my dogs off & asked my boyfriend Sean to drive by were the dog was. I wanted to at least give him some fresh water.
The dog seemed stress so I approached him slowly & carefully. Without any warning signs (growling, barking, carrying tail high) he attacked me & the result was the wound you see in the picture above.
Below, I will show you how I took care of my wound after the dog bite.
On the first couple of days, I cleansed the wound really well with Non GMO Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 3%usp.
Pour HP (Hydrogen peroxide) generously on an Organic Cotton Ball then wipe the wound gentle. Don’t worry, it won’t burn because has 3% peroxide instead of 35% like most of them do.
After wiping, use Butterfly wound closure strips to seal that wound shut. Make sure the adhesive does not touch the wound.
Cover the wound with breathable gauze for protection & absorption & Change daily or when pad becomes wet.
The following days, I substituted the HP (Hydrogen Peroxide) with Castille Soap (Fragrance & Essential Oils FREE). Everything else, remained the same.
When the wound was fully shut, I started using Aloe Vera gel (straight from the plant) during the day & Arnica gel at night
In addition to caring for the wound, I made sure I use Garlic in every meal I cooked. after all, Garlic is the BEST & MOST Effective Natural Antibiotic there is. You can also take Garlic capsules or chew on garlic cloves.
& last but not least, Turmeric capsules…
10 Days later, no stitches, no infection, no swelling, bruising or pain.
I WOULD <<<LOVE>>> TO HEAR EVERYONE’S COMMENTS & questions! : ]]]
