How I Got Bit By a Dog and Avoided Hospital Bills

Currently, we are stationed at John Prince Park Campground, a beautiful county park in Lake Worth, FL

One day, while I was walking my dogs, I noticed an unattended dog tied up to a picnic table. It was a very hot & humid typical South Florida day so, it caught my attention immediately. 5 hours went by & it was time for another dog walk.

The same dog was still sitting outside under the same conditions. I came back home, dropped my dogs off & asked my boyfriend Sean to drive by were the dog was. I wanted to at least give him some fresh water.

The dog seemed stress so I approached him slowly & carefully. Without any warning signs (growling, barking, carrying tail high) he attacked me & the result was the wound you see in the picture above.

Below, I will show you how I took care of my wound after the dog bite.

On the first couple of days, I cleansed the wound really well with Non GMO Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 3%usp.

MONKEY
Essential Oxygen 3% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide is one of the essential products for every First Aid Kit. With none of the toxic stabilizers found in non-food grade, brown bottle varieties or the burn of 35% peroxide, FGHPS is a cleaner way to cleanse every wound.

Pour HP (Hydrogen peroxide) generously on an Organic Cotton Ball then wipe the wound gentle. Don’t worry, it won’t burn because has 3% peroxide instead of 35% like most of them do.

Organic Cotton balls are made with renewable and sustainable raw materials that have not been treated with harsh chemicals

After wiping, use Butterfly wound closure strips to seal that wound shut. Make sure the adhesive does not touch the wound.

Sterile. Adhesive ensures a secure closure

Cover the wound with breathable gauze for protection & absorption & Change daily or when pad becomes wet.

The pads can be cut or trimmed to fit most wounds

The following days, I substituted the HP (Hydrogen Peroxide) with Castille Soap (Fragrance & Essential Oils FREE). Everything else, remained the same.

Smooth soap with no synthetic detergents or preservatives, as none of the ingredients or organisms are genetically modified. Contains no fragrance and replaces it with double the olive oil, so it is ideal for, sensitive skin, people with allergies & for wound treating.

When the wound was fully shut, I started using Aloe Vera gel (straight from the plant) during the day & Arnica gel at night

Anti Bacterial, Anti Viral, Anti Inflammatory. Bottled Aloe gel link included for convenience

Arnica is applied to the skin for pain and swelling associated with bruises, aches, and sprains.

In addition to caring for the wound, I made sure I use Garlic in every meal I cooked. after all, Garlic is the BEST & MOST Effective Natural Antibiotic there is. You can also take Garlic capsules or chew on garlic cloves.

Personally, I love this brand because it is Non GMO, Gluten Free, No artificial colors & No dairy/lactose … OH! & this capsules are odorless, Do I need to say more? 🙂

& last but not least, Turmeric capsules…

Along with Arnica, this root is the Most Powerful Anti Inflammatory & Pain reliever there is. BTW< I take them DAILY!>

10 Days later, no stitches, no infection, no swelling, bruising or pain.
